Rare Ware is my creative endeavor to make functional objects that are unique and fun to use. Each piece is created in a moment of time. Pieces that are sets have minor inconsistencies due to their hand-made nature and the way they are manipulated.
This ware is just as much for the the art-craft collector as it is for someone who craves something a little more personal for their morning coffee. I hope my work is as fun and satisfying to use as it is to view as an aesthetic object.
FYI- Rare Ware is vitrified to approximately 2200 degrees F and is Oven, Microwave and Dishwasher Safe. But be warned that extreme temperature shocks subject the ware to stress cracks and even breakage. Always slowly warm and cool the ware.
